A Unit Trust is an excellent way to accumulate wealth. It is a pool of savings by members. Fund Managers invest the pooled funds in selected securities. Each person receives units depending on the size and value of his/her investment.

Money Market Fund
Our Money Market Fund invests in high quality interest bearing investments, fixed deposits, and near cash holdings in the Kenyan market. This fund is recommended for the low-risk investor who prefers stability and security, and is especially ideal during times of stock market turbulence.

  • Interest is calculated on a daily basis, and credited to the client's account monthly.
  • Option of reinvesting into the fund to maximise investments returns through compounded growth.
  • No joining fee.
  • Management fee of 2% p. a.
  • The minimum investment for each of our unit Trusts Funds is KShs 5,000.00
  • The minimum additional investment amount is KShs 5,000.00.

Equity Fund

Our Equity Fund is one of the easiest ways of having a professionally-managed stock portfolio. It invests in carefully selected shares and stocks listed on the Nairobi Stock Exchange. This fund is suitable for investors who are seeking long-term growth through dividends and capital gains from the investments.

  • Returns consisting of dividends and capital appreciation.
  • Option of reinvesting into the fund to maximise investments returns through compounded growth.
  • Returns are distributed twice a year in June and December.
  • No Joining Fee
  • Management fee of 2% p. a.
  • The minimum investment for each of our unit Trusts Funds is KShs 5,000.00
  • The minimum additional investment amount is KShs 5,000.00

Application Requirements:

  • Duly completed application form.
  • Photocopy of Kenyan ID/Valid Passport for all the signatories.
  • Cheque or Bank transfer confirmation of the investment amount.
  • Certified copy of a recent bank statement, photocopy of ATM Card or cancelled cheque as proof of bank details
  • One Passport Photograph 
  • Utility Bill as proof of residence 

Additional requirements for Corporates, Associations or Societies

  • Board/Trustee Resolution mandating the investment noting the authorized signatories
  • Certified copy of registration/incorporation certificate

Important Information

  • Rates on the CBA Money Market Funds are quoted net of all charges and gross of Withholding tax.
  • Past performance is not necessarily a guide to future investment performance.
  • The prices of the CBA Equity Fund and yields on the CBA Money Market Fund may change on a daily basis. Price of units may go up as well as down as a result of changes in the value of the underlying investments.
  • In certain specified circumstances, the right to redeem shares may be suspended
  • There are no guarantees on the client`s capital invested. The performance of the underlying investment vehicles determines the value of your Unit Trust investments.
