Dr. William T. Muhairwe
Dr. Muhairwe is a business management economist by profession with over 25 years of management experience. He is currently the Executive Director of the Global Water Leaders Group, UK. His overall responsibilities include liaising with Water Leaders to formulate common goals for the safe provision of water and sanitation services and assisting in making policies that are crucial to the development of the water sector. Dr. Muhairwe was the leader for the Institutional Options for the Urban Water Sector in Ghana, a project funded by World Bank. His major deliverables were studying the existing institutional framework, assessing institutional aspects for reforming and restructuring of the sector, assessing labour, O&M, capital investments requirements, and reform implications to the sector and analysing institutional requirements and implications of transitional arrangements.
Dr. Muhairwe has served as a senior manager at various levels. He was the Managing Director, National Water and Sewerage Corporation, Uganda, UN Habitat Consultant (Advisory Services) to the UN-HABITAT Water and Sanitation Programme and he was a short-term World Bank Consultant (Advisory Services) to the World Bank Institute (WBI) and the Water and Sanitation Program (WSP).
He has also served as Deputy Executive Director and Ag Executive Director of Uganda Investment Authority and General Manager of Steel Corporation of East Africa Limited (SCEA), General Manager of East African Steel Corporation Limited (EASCO). He has also been Corporate Controller of Department of Business controlling administration and accounts, Wacker Chemie GmbH (Ltd) Burghansen, Germany. Dr. William holds a PhD, an MBA and a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, all from Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich, Germany.
Mr. Muhoho Kenyatta
Mr. Kenyatta is a leading entrepreneur, businessman and director of several companies within the Eastern Africa region including Brookside Dairy Ltd, Heritage Holdings Ltd, Kenya Dairy Board and Timsales Holding Ltd. He is a graduate of Williams College, Massachusetts, in the USA holding an Economics and Political Science degree.

Mr. Isaac Awuondo
Isaac Awuondo holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) degree from the University of Nairobi. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ACA) and member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (CPA K). Isaac has over 32 years’ experience in the finance and banking sectors spanning Europe and Eastern Africa and has previously worked with BDO Binder Hamlyn, Nation Media Group and Standard Chartered Bank in various senior executive roles. He is the Chairman of Kenya Airports Authority (KAA), the Council of Riara University, a Member of the Advisory Board of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) and a Director of Bata Shoes Company Kenya Ltd and the Kenya Cultural Centre. He is also Chairman of the Kenya Conservatoire of Music, WWF Kenya, The Rhino Trust and a Trustee of Zawadi Africa Education Fund.

Mr. Martin Mugambi
Martin Mugambi is the Group Executive Director (GED) at CBA, a position he was appointed to in November 2016. As the GED, Martin primarily provides oversight of the current subsidiary countries CBA operates in, as well as oversight for business entities within the Group that are managed as subsidiaries. Before joining CBA, Martin was the CEO & MD for Citibank Zambia Limited. Prior to his CEO role in Zambia, Martin was Citibank’s Sub-Saharan Africa Corporate Finance Head based in South Africa. Martin also worked with JPMorgan Chase for 3 years focusing on both advisory and structured finance roles, having joined Chase's Investment Banking Associate program in New York in 1998. Martin has served on several boards including Citibank Zambia Limited, Bankers Association of Zambia (BAZ) as Vice Chairman, Zambia Institute of Banking & Financial Services (ZIBFS) and Junior Achievement Zambia (JA). He has an MBA in Finance as well as a BSc in Business Administration from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the United States.

Mr. Anthony Ndegwa
Anthony Ndegwa was appointed the CEO of Commercial Bank of Africa (Uganda) Limited in May 2018. Anthony has worked for about 30 years in various profit and non-profit institutions, mainly in accounting and banking functions. In the banking sector, Anthony has worked for First American Bank, Credit Agricole Indosuez, Citibank (in Kenya and Uganda), Standard Chartered Bank and Bank of Africa. The senior roles that Anthony has held in banking, include Head of Corporate and Investment Banking at Citibank, Director Corporate Banking at Citibank Uganda Limited, East Africa Transactional Banking Sales Head of Global Corporates, at Standard Chartered Bank and most recently Head of Enterprise Centers at Bank of Africa.
Anthony has also lectured in Academia and has a passion for coaching & teaching having been a part time lecturer at Strathmore University, as well as having worked in USIU‐A as a part time lecturer in the faculty of Business & Finance. Anthony is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPAK), a holder of an MBA from Herriot-Watt University - Edinburgh Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from United States International University. As a qualified CPA (K), MBA and based on his extensive professional experience, Anthony brings on board strong business development, financial, strategic formulation and implementation skills which will be required to provide support to our growth agenda in the years ahead.
Mr. Joseph Mahugu
Joseph Mahugu holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in accounting from University of Nairobi. He is a holder of Certified Public Accountant of Kenya CPA (K) qualification and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (CPA K). Joseph has over 15 years of experience in the banking industry and has undertaken local and international courses in Financial and Management Accounting. He also has high mastery of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS)
Prof. Dr. Maggie Kigozi
Prof. Maggie Kigozi, a fellow of the African Leadership Initiative of the Aspen Institute, is a medical doctor by profession. She practiced medicine in Uganda, Kenya and Zambia.
She joined the private sector in 1994 as Marketing Director of Crown Bottlers (Pepsi) Ltd. The company has evolved and diversified into one of the most successful companies in Uganda producing high quality beverages and contributing to the national economy. She was elected as a Board member of the Uganda Manufacturer’s Association and played a key role as Chairperson of the Sector Subcommittee in advising the government on private sector friendly policies.
In 1999 she was appointed executive director of the Uganda Investment Authority (UIA), a position she held for over 11 years. Under her leadership, Uganda attracted over US $4 billion actual foreign investment and US $10 billion planned investment. Prof. Kigozi founded the UIA Women Entrepreneurs Network which successfully networked business women, built their capacity and advocated against discriminatory cultures and laws. She later joined UNIDO as a consultant investment promotion expert to build capacity in African Investment Promotion Agencies. She is working as a consultant with International Trade Centre (ITC) to build the capacity of Women Vendors to supply governments and corporates.
Ms. Grace Kasisira
Ms. Grace Kasisira is an Economist currently working as a freelance consultant in banking and finance. She has several years’ of diversified experience in the field of banking. Prior to her retirement, she enjoyed an illustrious 30 year tenure at Bank of Uganda, (Central Bank) where she served in several departments specializing in regulation and supervision and economic policy research. She climbed the corporate ladder to the position of Deputy Head of Department. She is a member of Project Link, an international collaborative Research Group for econometric modelling. Grace Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, a post graduate diploma in business administration and a Master’s degree in policy and planning. Her other special areas of expertise include training and advisory services in microfinance startups, development and regulation, capacity based lending, gender related research and evaluation.
Mr. Joseph Baliddawa
Mr. Baliddawa is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He has worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he is a former Country Senior Partner and a Country Coordinator of the Public Sector Group in Uganda. With 34 years of experience in finance and accounting, he possesses extensive experience in the directorships of large audit and consultancy assignments involving several multi-location companies, programs and staff from different organisations.
Mr. Baliddawa is a member of professional association bodies like; the Institute of Commercial Management, Founder council member and the President of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda and Chairman of Public Accountants Examinations Board in Uganda.
His great accomplishments have earned him life time achievement awards from: ACCA Global, Lions Clubs International Association. He is also the recipient of The Pearl of Africa Lifetime Achievement award for his outstanding contribution to the United Nations Millennium Development Goals in Uganda. He is the current President of the Institute of Corporate Governance of Uganda (ICGU). He also serves on Boards of several corporates as a director and Chairman of Audit Committees.
